Tobias Dahlhaus – 3rd at National Junior Hill Climb Championships

Tobias

In a time of 02:44.8, Dahlhaus smashed the gruelling National Hill Climb Championships course at the end of last month. The climb, although short at just 834m, reached gradients of 20% in some parts, making it unsuitable for the more slender riders, and in favour of those ‘punchier’ climbers.

At 177cm, Tobias was realistically aiming for a top-15 placing; but, riding at 7.7w/kg during his effort, he managed to exceed his own expectations and claim 3rd place in the junior category, beating some top-testing riders, such as George Evans of Team Bottrill. Well done Tobias!
