Cycle routes in Essex benefit from a comparatively flat terrain. This provides a good setting for speed endurance training with relatively quiet roads that allow for focused, uninterrupted cycle routes.
The starting point for all these routes is by Vauxhall Bridge and we take a quick route of London out via the the City of London (quiet at the weekends) into Epping Forest and the countryside beyond.
The Epping Forest Figure of Eight is a middle-distance ride out to the Forest and the surrounding area.
