The club took the top honours once again as Tim Lynch dominated with a 55-point margin across 18 rounds, while Cece Liu earned an impressive third place overall in the women’s standings, followed closely by Lavinia Chiodi Daelli.

It meant the men’s championship was secured earlier in the season with a few rounds to go, while the women’s title race was much closer. Go Fast Turn Left (GFTL) pushed Dynamo hard throughout the season, with Le Col Racing Team also in the chase, but Dynamo managed to hold on.

The final night
On the final night, Ben Crichard took the win in the Open 4ths, with Dan Britt finishing eighth, as Jodok Amstad-Kua locked down second in the Open 3rds.
Emma Patterson led a nine-women strong Dynamo squad to secure third place in the Women’s 1/2/3/4. Cece, Lavinia, Alexandra Hamilton and Lauren Cape all finished in the points-paying positions.

Meanwhile, men’s champion Tim added another podium finish in the Open E/1/2/3 to wrap up a brilliant season. He was joined by Alex Mutter as he came fifth and marked his second consecutive West Thames League men’s title.

A season of progress
Race team manager James Northway said: “This second series win is just one example of how the race group is progressing.
“In addition to these excellent results, we had the best overall women’s racer in Ruth Taylor in the Oxfordshire Road Race League, and our women’s squad also took over the team classification in the same series.
“More widely, we have been getting excellent results from youth and masters’ racers at national level events throughout the season.
“Tom Guccione secured second in the Clive Tiley Memorial, a two-day National B stage race that is part of Tour of the Mendips, while Alex Hamilton and Ken Knight have become masters’ champions.
“I am extremely impressed with our the squad, men and women, have gelled and produced such impressive individual and team efforts throughout the season.”
London Dynamo has secured its third consecutive West Thames League championship after overhauling a 134-point deficit last season to take the crown by just 15 points.
That capped a successful title defence after the club won the team championship in 2024 by just a single point.
Congratulations to every rider who raced and scored points for the club, and thank you to the West Thames League organisers for a well-run series.
