About this route

This route was designed by the organisers of the Dartmoor Legend Ultra, run by Sportiva Events, not by London Dynamo.

Sportive routes change from year to year, and this page uses the distances and climbing published by the organisers. Event details are on the Sportiva Events site.

On the route

The Dartmoor Legend starts and finishes at Exeter Racecourse. The organisers say only a short section is ridden more than once.

Shorter routes of 177, 103 and 61km start from the same place under the Moor 2 Sea name.

This is the provisional route, as the final 2027 route has not been published. We will revisit this page from time to time to swap in the actual 2027 route once it is out.

The route measures 328.5km with 6,407m of climbing, which gives it a Terrain label of Challenging. Its notable climbs are listed below.

This page is for riding the route outside the sportive, on your own or with friends. There are no organised feed stops, so plan your food and water for the day.

Event names and logos belong to their owners and are shown for identification only. London Dynamo is not affiliated with these events.
