London to Brighton to London

The London-Brighton-London ride is an annual summer event.  The London to Brighton cycling route starts just ahead of the official London-to-Brighton ride. London Dynamo’s event starts by Wandsworth Common before heading due south out of London and down through Sussex.

The road to Brighton is generally flat to rolling with one notable exception – a long climb up and over Ditchling Beacon before a very fast descent down to the coast.

The route back to London is more rolling and finds its way through the eastern side of the Surrey Hills.

Starting point: The Hope, Wandsworth Common

Breakfast stop: The Regency Café, Brighton (85km)
