Ferny Hill Farm Loop

The Ferny Hill Farm Loop cycling route climbs steadily up from Regents Park through Belsize Park, Hampstead and other leafy suburbs before heading into the green belt, with some relatively fast straight roads, before turning back towards London over Muswell Hill, down through Highgate and back to the park. 

Starting Point: Espresso Bar, Regent’s Park, London.

Suggested café stop: Ferny Hill Farm Tea Rooms (43 km).

The Redhill Aerodrome Circuit cycling route heads south from Hampton Court Bridge, up over Box Hill before heading further south with a loop south of Reigate. There is an opportunity to stop at Redhill Aerodrome’s café to watch light aircraft take off and land. The route then heads north towards Kingston.

This gravel route heads up past the lakes and marshes of the Lee Valley before looping back down through Epping Forest. The route up the valley passes the Walthamstow Wetlands, Waltham Abbey, Lee Valley Country Park and the River Lee Navigation canal. The return leg heads first out into open farmland before heading right through the heart of Epping Forest before back into London.

The Tour of the Isle of Wight is now a London Dynamo summer tradition. After an early morning ferry from Portsmouth, the route goes anti-clockwise round the island, taking in the chain link ferry at Cowes, the steep climb up to the view point of the Needles and the fast but breezy Military Road.
