About this route

This route was designed by the organisers of the Tour o’ the Borders, run by Hillside Outside, not by London Dynamo.

Sportive routes change from year to year, and this page uses the distances and climbing published by the organisers. Event details are on the Hillside Outside site.

On the route

The Tour o’ the Borders starts and finishes in Peebles. The 2026 routes were 120km with 1,200m of climbing and 88km with 940m, and the organisers change the course from year to year.

The organisers run the event as a closed road event. On any other day the roads are open to traffic, so ride them as you would any other route.

This page is for riding the route outside the sportive, on your own or with friends. There are no organised feed stops, so plan your food and water for the day.

Event names and logos belong to their owners and are shown for identification only. London Dynamo is not affiliated with these events.
