Whiteleaf Loop

The Whiteleaf Loop cycling route into he Chilterns heads west out of London via Uxbridge to get further into the the western end of the Chillterns National Landscape. A climb up Whiteleaf Hill sets up the long descent home back to London.

After a steep climb up Whiteleaf Hill, the route is on a general descending trend back to London.

Starting point: Costa, Brentford

Shere Loop

The Shere Loop cycling route into the Surrey Hills ups the elevation a bit. Rather than using Staple Lane to climb to Shere, this route takes Shere Road and Combe Lane up to the woodlands where  there is then a loop with a series of climbs and descents including St. Martha’s Hill, Alderbook Road and Sandy Lane.

This relatively short cycling route is an introduction to the Surrey Hills and Box Hill in particular. The route climbs up to Ranmore Common, down the other side before the zig zag climb up to Box Hill. The route returns back to the start via Epsom.

The Panshanger Park Loop cycling route heads up through North London via the Swains Lane climb in Highgate, and this time heads towards Hertford. After the café stop, the route loops around Panshanger Park before the southerly leg heads back to Regents Park via Hampstead Heath.

Bough Beech Loop

The Bough Beech Loop cycling route crosses two ridges of the Downs, first over Biggin Hill via the Beddlestead and then the Brasted Chart climb over Toys Hill before heading to Chiddingstone. The return return passes through Bough Beech reservoir and up Ide Hill to the stunning views at the top.
