Aldbury Loop

The Aldbury Loop cycling route to the Chilterns heads north out of Regents Park and Hampstead and skirts south of Watford, out into the countryside and the eastern, Hertfordshire, end of the Chilterns with a loop around Aldbury Common back to London.

It’s a generally rolling route with the occasional steeper climb.

Start point: Espresso Café, Regents Park

Suggested café stop: Church Farm Café (64km), just before Aldbury

Classic Surrey Hills – Short

The Classic Surrey Hills (shorter version) cycling route tackles three of the local hills.  Firstly, the route tackles Staple Lane which rises up to the Shere Woodlands before a steep descent down Combe Lane, followed by a hard right and second sharp climb up Crock North through Effingham Forest to Ranmore Common. The subsequent descent down through Ashcombe Wood is followed by the iconic Box Hill climb. This in turn is followed by a long descent and the return leg to East Molsey.

The Rochester Rouleur

The Rochester Rouleur cycling route is a scenic rolling out-and-back route to Rochester. After traversing the northern ridge of the Downs it heads east along the eastern end of the old Pilgrims’ Way to the coast.

Bough Beech Loop

The Bough Beech Loop cycling route crosses two ridges of the Downs, first over Biggin Hill via the Beddlestead and then the Brasted Chart climb over Toys Hill before heading to Chiddingstone. The return return passes through Bough Beech reservoir and up Ide Hill to the stunning views at the top.
