About this route

This route was designed by the organisers of RideLondon, not by London Dynamo.

Sportive routes change from year to year, and this page follows the route file we hold. RideLondon took a break in 2025, and we have not found a later edition of the Essex 100.

On the route

The RideLondon Essex 100 was a closed-road sportive that took riders out of central London and through Essex. The 2023 edition ran from Victoria Embankment to Tower Bridge, and this route follows that start and finish. The riding is steady, with no climbs that stand out.

The route measures 164.8km with 1,184m of climbing, which gives it a Terrain label of Rolling.

This page is for riding the route outside the sportive, on your own or with friends. There are no organised feed stops, so plan your food and water for the day.

Event names and logos belong to their owners and are shown for identification only. London Dynamo is not affiliated with these events.
