The North Kent Woods & Downs cycling route heads out into the Dickens country of the North Kent Woods & Downs National Nature Reserve.

The route involves a fair amount of climbing in the first half of the ride culminating in Vigo Hill just before the café stop in the woods of Trosley Country Park.

Classic Surrey Hills – Short

The Classic Surrey Hills (shorter version) cycling route tackles three of the local hills.  Firstly, the route tackles Staple Lane which rises up to the Shere Woodlands before a steep descent down Combe Lane, followed by a hard right and second sharp climb up Crock North through Effingham Forest to Ranmore Common. The subsequent descent down through Ashcombe Wood is followed by the iconic Box Hill climb. This in turn is followed by a long descent and the return leg to East Molsey.

Hever Loop

The Hever Loop cycling route is a bit more challenging than the loop via Bough Beech. Instead of going south over Toys Hill and north over Ide Hill, it does the reverse. This allows for the exhilarating Ide Hill descent and, after a Chiddingstone stop and a loop around Hever Castle, climbing the more challenging north side of Toys Hill, and another great descent down Brasted Chart.
