SPRING ROAD RACE

We expanded our racing calendar in 2024 to bring you a Spring Men’s National B (E/1/2/3) and Women’s Regional A (Cat 2/3/4) event. These races are held at the Cublington course in Buckinghamshire which we hope will provide a fast and challenging race.

OXFORDSHIRE ROAD RACE LEAGUE

London Dynamo recently became a member of the Oxfordshire Road Race League and hosts one round of the league's races on the Oakley Shabbington circuit. The men's and women's races are both Regional A (Cat 2/3/4).

BMCR SPRING CRIT

British Masters Cycle Racing for the over 40’s at the very popular Hillingdon Cycle Circuit. Prize money for the first three riders in each age category, plus primes. Women plus EGFH+ (1 hours plus 3 laps). Men’s ABCD (1 hour plus 3 laps).

RICHMOND PARK TIME TRIALS

London Dynamo is the only cycling club permitted to run time trials in Richmond Park. Categories include TT (men & women), Road (men & women), Junior (male & female), paracyclists, and 3-up Team Time Trial (men & women). Held over two events in June and July, riders on the 10.4mile/16.7km course set off opposite the car park by Robin Hood Gate, head anti-clockwise to the roundabout by Kingston Gate and turn back to the start again before finishing near Pen Ponds car park. This event sells out very quickly so keep an eye out for entries opening!

SUMMER ROAD RACE

Our flagship National B flagship event, currently held every July on one of the Surrey League circuits such as Chiddingfold, is contested by some of the best trade teams and club cyclists in the South East. This race sees top riders using this as a warm up race for Nationals.

CLUB COMPETITIONS

The end of the season sees dozens of Dynamos competing at our members-only Club Champs and Hill Climb Championships. The club champs are held at a closed circuit and trophies are awarded for the winners of the men, women and junior categories. Our hill climb takes place at a different hill each year and categories are based on rider weight.

MARSHALLING ASSISTANCE

In addition to our events listed above, London Dynamo also helps out marshalling races hosted by other clubs at Hillingdon and Crystal Palace as well as Surrey League and other British Cycling races.
