  • Distance: 93 km
  • Elevation Gain: 1120m
  • Start/Finish: The Coppernose, Hampton Court, London
  • Highlights: The countryside towards Rusper.
  • Terrain: Hills

The Tanhouse & Denbies Loop cycling route in the Surrey Hills heads south out of Cobham and climbs up to White Downs and then Leith Hill.

The route then descends down into a loop towards Rusper where the route heads north back towards London via Denbies Farm and Juniper.  

Suggested café: Tanhouse Café, Tanhouse Farm (46km).

Windsor Alternative Loop

The Windsor Alternative Loop cycling route differs from the Classic Loop in that it does not come back so directly. Rather than shadowing the river by Staines, this route turns up Crimp Hill and Callow Hill for a lumpier and more scenic return journey. It rejoins the usual route at Chertsey.

It then heads through woods of Toys Hill before the return leg back to Surrey.
